A natural sleep aid can control the bodys production of melatonin and the body's awareness of night and day. A natural sleep aid makes it easier to fall asleep by helping the body to relax and it works to correct the unbalanced melatonin that has been affected because of the lifestyle.
Prescription remedies usually consist of a sedative which is used to calm and relax the body in order to promote sleep. Prescription sleep aids helps to reduce anxiety and slow breathing that can in turn make it easier to fall asleep.

Although prescription sleep aids are effectively able to treat sleeping problems, those who take prescription sleep aid may find themselves becoming depended on it. Prescription sleep aids can lead to restlessness, convulsions, insomnia, unconsciousness and even death if they are not taken as directed.
